Barack Obama Favorable/Unfavorable: 67/26 [+41]
Approval/Disapproval: 54/39 [+15]

Nine months later…..

December 2009

Barack Obama Favorable/Unfavorable: 49/45 [+4]
Approval/Disapproval: 44/55 [-11]

These numbers come in a state where he won 57% of the vote last November (Bill Clinton 57% of the two-party vote in Michigan as well).

Of course, Bill Press’s next Chicago Tribune article will cite the March poll as evidence for how popular Barack Obama is in Michigan.
